Dockline is an office property located in the heart of Dublin’s International Financial Service’s Centre. Built in 1999, this 6-storey over basement, 80,000 square feet office building has recently undergone a refurbishment.
As part of the refurbishment, Modula was delighted to work with consulting engineers Axiseng and M&E contractor DMG Engineering in the design, supply and commissioning of a new intelligent lighting control system for the landlord areas, car park, garden and external building façade.
With the inclusion of occupancy sensors that switch lights off in areas not in use, the system is also enabled with daylight harvesting capabilities, allowing for internal lighting to be dimmed as natural daylight enters through the building’s glass windows.
This intelligent lighting system allows the building to operate efficiently, while also enhancing the comfort and wellbeing of the people that now occupy the space.
