DATE: July 31, 2022
CLIENT: Suir Engineering
PROJECT TYPE: Modular Wiring & Lighting Controls
CONTRACTOR: Suir Engineering
76 Sir John Rogerson’s Quay is an eye-catching new build situated in Dublin’s Docklands overlooking the River Liffey.
For both the commercial and residential elements of this project, Modula was requested to detail, design and supply a system of modular wiring that is required to provide the backbone for electrical power and lighting throughout.
Office space consisted of 9,500m² over 9 floors shell & core and tenant spaces and 11 floors shell & core areas of the Residential component.
In addition to the above, Modula was requested to detail, design, supply and commission a lighting system that is required to provide addressable general & emergency lighting control and daylight harvesting throughout the project.
The Modula lighting control system used a mains-rated DALI bus which meant the cabling infrastructure for the lighting control could be run in the modular home runs and distribution units. This led to the entire power and lighting distribution installation being plug-and-play.
The result of this project is a modern, eye-catching building in the heart of Dublin’s South Docklands.
