We are delighted to welcome Gary Human to our growing team at Modula. Gary joins us as Business Development Manager and will help in delivering our innovative systems to more customers. We sat down with Gary and asked him the important questions.
What has been your career path to date?
I have been lucky to be part of companies that allowed me to travel around the globe, with mentors that coached me into who I am today. I have been able to gain a lot of experience on an international level, mainly in the lighting and electrical industry. My career has been mainly in sales, sales management and business development, business strategy, LED lighting product management, also touching on marketing and digital marketing. Grateful for the exposure on an international platform, I still have a lot to learn and will continue to do so until I pack away my suit and tie for good.
What interested you the most about joining Modula?
The fact that electrical installations have now also evolved, along with the way construction has, thanks to Modula’s innovations. We need to be more efficient on all levels. From saving precious time to money and environmentally. The whole Modula concept has truly gripped me knowing that Modula will better the way installations and planning take place.
What does your new role at Modula involve?
I will be working on new business development as well as working with existing clients, looking at various projects around the country where the Modula solution will benefit everyone from the project planner, to the installer, right through to the end client.
What are the most important elements to you when interacting with existing and potential customers?
Customer satisfaction is key. Delivering on what has been planned and raising the bar on expectations to ensure a smooth transition. Understanding what the clients’ needs are as well as the delivery is vital. There is a solution to all problems.
Outside of work, what do you enjoy doing in your downtime?
I do enjoy the outdoors and stay fit with regular gym visits. It helps to clear the head. I have recently taken up assisting with coaching the woman’s rugby team in Greystones, taking me back to my playing days.
